5th grade program

The entire 5th grade got together to put on a program that involved both song and dance.  Each class dressed in a different color - with Kayl's class in red.  they performed during school at an assembly for all of the students, then again that evening for all of the parents.

We got luck for photos as Kayl was on an end...

Kayl really enjoys singing, and is one of the most animated in her class.

Their dance started out in a down position.

This allowed Kayl to throw her hair forward...

...and then 'fling' it back as she came up!

Kayl also loves dancing very much, and is pretty animated there as well.

After a bit of group dancing, they broke up into small groups and danced. Kayl was in a group of five girls, who did some coordinated moves and a stack move. This almost worked...

...but always finish with a 'splash', and they'll never know you didn't plan for it!

After each small group went, it was back to the whole class dancing. Here's a little 'boogie' move.

For the evening performance, I had a different angle for pictures...

...but ended up getting some great expressions!

She really does love to perform!
