During the final weeks leading up to our wedding, the stress of getting everything ready and right was getting to just about everyone – Mary, me, my family, hers, everyone. A bit prior to that blessed event, Mary's dad made an off-hand comment to me that he'd almost give us a thousand bucks for us to just elope to Vegas and get it over with without all the fuss. Later the very same day, my dad semi-seriously made the very same offer, saying he'd almost rather just give us the money rather than go through all to hassle!
For a couple of college kids, this posed a situation worth thinking over – if only for a minute or two. Needless to say, we never took the offers seriously (if they were even offered seriously), and the results turned out pretty good! Love ya
Anyway, here's looking forward to creating a whole bunch of great memories on our 25th anniversary, and in the next 25 years!!
